Why are you a part of PPP?
I believe in PPP’s business model. Sustainable/Local/Consensus Based. Since I have to work, this is the type of business I want to dedicate my time to.

What was your first bike?
My first bike was a used little too big canary yellow banana bike with chopper handlebars dressed up with tassels. Oh what I wouldn’t do for an adult version of that.

Who is your favorite superhero?
Wonder Woman, hands down. She never hid her identity, no closet for my fav. She’s a 6’0 Amazon princess who was trained as a warrior. She is not only with blessed gifts such as great strength, beauty, speed and a loving heart, she also has the Lasso of Truth (you will all be truthful), the Sandals of Mercury (she can travel anywhere in seconds), magical Amazonium bracelets and an invisible jet. WW otherwise known as the former Goddess of Truth, I will personally deliver to you free any day.

Where do you see PPP in five years?
In five years, I see PPP using our business model to set up branch Pedal Power businesses in cities around the nation.

My first bike was called a "Gaser II". A yellow and orange single speed with a banana seat on which I put a purple bumper sticker that said, "Lady Godiva Was A Streaker".

If you were an animal, what would you be?
If I could be an animal, I would be an otter. Unlike me stone-faced bio pic, I like to laugh and frolic!

Where do you see PPP in five years?
In five years, I see the company operating in multiple urban centers and providing exceptional same-day delivery service to thousands every day. PPP will become the go-to solution for business leaders looking to incorporate promotional cargo bikes as a modern tool for commerce and growth.

Position with PPP
Rider and R&D

Who you are in 10 words or less?
How am I supposed to describe myself in ten words?

Why are you a part of PPP?
I was fortunate enough to be hired. But, now that this Q&A is on the site, they'll never be able to get rid of me. The internet is forever and web development costs a fortune. Muahahahaha!

If you were an animal, what would you be or who is your favorite superhero?
Same answer for both: A cormorant. Giving up speech and hands would be tough. But, being able to fly and deep sea dive is like Hawkman and Aquaman combined.

Where do you see bike based businesses in five years?
Hover bikes.

Maria

Name
Maria DeLorenzo

Position with PPP
Marketing Specialist

Who you are in 10 words or less?
Writer, editor, marketer. Karaoake enthusiast. Loud laugher. Carless wonder.

Why are you a part of PPP?
Working with PPP is at the intersection of many of my passions: bikes, community, sustainability and creative marketing. Having worked for years with urban planners, I strongly believe that bikes are a necessary part of urban growth and mobility. Bike delivery reduces C02 emissions and vehicle congestion. It's also a really fun and creative place to work.

What was your first bike?
Pretty sure it was pink and had tassles on the handlebars and a little woven plastic basket on the front. I've been on bikes since I was a wee little one. My parents used to take us on long bike trip vacations and before we could ride we got carted around in one of those baby bike trailers.

Who is your favorite superhero?
I really liked She-Ra when I was little. Then bizzaro Aeon Flux. Basically any high-femme badass.

Where do you see PPP in five years?
National leaders in the rapid growth of bike-based commerce and delivery sustainability, much expanded, building our moon fleet.

Stephen

Name
Stephen Sines

Position with PPP
Rider. I do.

Who you are in 10 words or less?
Someone with a sense of humor. Laugh. Smile. Period.

Why are you a part of PPP?
I know people who know people (repeat).

What was your first bike?
A Redline 440. Probably hasn't been turned into a trash compactor yet. 20 years have passed, so it probably has kids and a mortgage.

Who is your favorite superhero?
The monster under my bed.

Where do you see PPP in five years?
Bigger, Badder and Bearded-er.
